True Geisha is produced in extremely limited quantities. Each harvest yields a unique expression shaped by climate, processing method, and the skill of the producer. Focus Espresso works directly with top estates through direct trade relationships, selecting only the finest micro-lots that meet our rigorous standards.
Originally from the forests of Ethiopia, Geisha was overlooked for decades—considered difficult to cultivate and low-yielding. It wasn't until 2004, when Panama's Hacienda La Esmeralda entered it into the Best of Panama (BOP) competition, that the world took notice. The judges were stunned by its unprecedented floral aroma and delicate complexity. Geisha shattered every expectation, setting record auction prices and becoming the most sought-after coffee in the world.
Much like Geisha's rise from obscurity to global acclaim, Focus Espresso began as a small, passionate venture and grew into a cornerstone of Hong Kong's specialty commercial coffee scene.
